COURSE DESCRIPTION

BDS full form stands for Bachelor of Dental Surgery and an undergraduate degree programme in the dental field. The duration of the BDS course is 5 years including one year of internship. which focuses on learning practical as well as theoretical study of a denture, dental problems, and surgery. After completing BDS and getting a license from DCI, students can use the title ‘Dr’ before their name and practice Dentistry.

Master of Dental Surgery is a postgraduate degree in Dentistry. Master of Dental Surgery is a specialized area of medical science that concentrates only on the oral, jaw, dental section and other facial. The duration of the Master of Dental Surgery is a three-years but there is a provision of a two-years MDS course for the candidates who have completed a Post Graduate Diploma course recognised by DCI. After finishing MDS, candidates get employed easily by hospitals, medical colleges, and private nursing homes.
